Job Description

We're looking for a full-time Full Stack React/Node Developer to join our growing team.

As a Full Stack React/Node developer, you will be part of a team of engineers working on a SaaS fintech platform. You have strong but flexible opinions, possess great written and spoken communication skills, are an excellent collaborator and focused on being part of a team rather than working in a silo. You are open to providing and giving feedback and have a continuous improvement mindset. You know how to actively contribute value to the product, instead of focusing on your tickets. You proactively provide suggestions, raise concerns and resolve issues.

We are a digital strategy and innovation agency helping midsize and enterprise organisations think and act like tech startups.

We were born in 2018 and have grown rapidly to a team of 25, designing and building web and mobile apps. On top of client projects, we also build our own apps, for example, our fintech platform aminsights.com.

  • 4+ years of experience with React/Node
  • Significant experience with technological stack such as (but not limited to):
    • ReactJs and NodeJS
    • Tailwind / Css
    • AntJS or MaterialUI
    • NestJs or ExpressJs
    • Mongo or any relational database experience
    • ElasticSearch
  • Prior experience with:
    • Git (GitHub/Bitbucket)
    • NestJS OR ExpressJS
    • React / CSS
  • Experience writing clean, well-maintained code
  • Constantly learning and sharing knowledge + seeks out, appreciates and also returns feedback
  • Loves to develop awesome products with a focus on great user experience
  • Highly self-driven and responsible
  • Able to work collaboratively with team members of all experience levels and skill sets
  • Desire to learn and participate in aspects of software development life cycle - planning, developing, maintaining live production systems
  • An eye for good UI

  • Huge bonus would be any devops expertise with:
    • AWS (ECS, S3, IAM, OpenSearch)
    • Cloudformation
    • Pulumi
    • Auth0
    • Mongo Atlas
  • Experience with content management frameworks such as Contentful or Strapi
  • React Native experience for mobile app development
  • E2E & Unit testing
  • Experience working with CI/CD, deployment and monitoring
  • Agile software development

  • Create components in React and Node
  • Build responsive web pages and mobile app screens with Tailwind/CSS/SCSS
  • Make interactive experiences with API integrations
  • Write robust, accessible, maintainable code
  • Receive and conduct code reviews from/with your colleagues and team leads
  • Create backend and API functionality with Node.js
  • Manage yours' and your teams' production code in AWS (training provided)
  • Adhere to data privacy legislation, including GDPR (training provided)
