Azure Data and Power BI Engineer

Chicago IL

Contract Role

Job Duties:

Design and implement secured data pipelines, analytic capabilities using Azure Services and PowerBI

Direct and manage the team of engineers developing the data pipeline and reports

Coordinate with SMEs and Business Owners to capture business requirements and translate to technical requirements

Enable Automation for enabling high availability services to meet RTO and RPO SLOs

Influence and contribute to Data and BI community of practice

Must-Have Skills:

The position requires excellent Visualization, communication, coaching, and training skills, as well as the ability to work well independently and in a collaborative team environment.

10+ Years of strong relevant consulting or industry experience delivering Power BI Solutions

Experience in the design, development, and implementation of data warehousing, reporting and analytics solutions

Strong Data and Dashboard Architecture and problem-solving skills.

Strong Experience in Power BI Report Development: Data modelling, PBI Visualizations and Functions, Power Query and Performance optimization.

Strong experience in Azure Data Factory for creating and managing Data pipeline, and working with the linked services, data sets and triggers.

Strong Experience in data modelling, Design patterns, ETL packages, OLAP cubes, and reports utilizing Power BI applying best practices to the development lifecycle.
