Position Overview
The Specialist: B2B Paid Digital/Social Advertising develops and executes programs independently or with a small team, under the direction of a manager. Strong domain knowledge is a must for B2B paid digital/social advertising (primarily Search, Social, Display/Programmatic, Shopping, and Video), in a position focused on full-funnel marketing using primarily an Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and a Persona/Segment-Based marketing approach. A deep understanding of Google Analytics is preferred. Knowledge of other digital marketing tactics is valued, as is a reasonably solid understanding of Landing Page Development, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Content Marketing, and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO).
This position is 100% remote, requiring a candidate who has worked virtually in the past and who has a broad understanding of (primarily) B2B business models employed by our clients, including revenue/cost structures. This position is responsible for developing, launching, and optimizing paid digital/social advertising programs, under limited guidance and coaching, so a proven ability to deliver results with little supervision is essential. As a member of a learning organization, you would be required to demonstrate continual growth in your knowledge and skills so as to enlarge DirectiveGroup’s industry authority position, including writing articles for internal and external blogs, making content updates to our corporate website, developing and delivering presentations, networking and referring new clients, etc.

To do well in this role, you will require:
• Strong knowledge in B2B paid digital advertising (search, display, programmatic, shopping, CTV, etc), including all aspects of attaining strong performance, including DTC.
• Strong knowledge in B2B paid social advertising (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc), including all aspects of attaining strong performance, primarily for B2B.
• Strong knowledge in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking preferred to include expertise with Excel and PowerBI.
• Working knowledge of Landing Page Development, Organic Social Media Marketing, Email Marketing, SEO, and Content Marketing.
• Capable of developing strong client relationship management and outstanding representation of company and industry in small settings and large venues, including fostering an industry-leading POV.
• Internal motivation and developed skills in project management, process management, and all internal administrative processes that underlie a consistently strong performance.
• Solutions-oriented mindset to solve challenges while following best practices and sharing new ideas.
Responsibilities:
Outcomes: First Six Months
• Develops and executes tactical multi-channel growth plans for B2B clients under management to meet performance goals of at least 20% growth YoY in measures of individual client performance across all (integrated) program tactics, with limited guidance and assistance.
• Participates in the development of DirectiveGroup strategies, including the development of tactics within domains of expertise, and subsequent authoritative presentation and implementation of these strategies that achieve targeted performance goals.
• Participates in program and client management that includes oversight of all tactics, interaction with the client, and solution-finding/problem-solving to meet client objectives in novel or unstructured situations.
• Conducts Paid/Social Advertising Audits that uncover opportunities and problems, and present to existing and prospective clients in an authoritative and persuasive way to achieve goals of winning ongoing business.
• Follows project and process management best practices to deliver all in-scope requirements within the given period and within given hours, for self and all managed resources.
• Growth-minded to develop thought leadership internally and externally to build the DirectiveGroup brand and to generate interest in our services, including assisting sales engineering and industry presentations.
Qualifications:
Skills Required to Achieve Success Social/Digital Marketing & Advertising • Thinks strategically about business, has solid (B2B primarily) business model understanding across multiple industries, and can connect business growth strategies to specific digital marketing programs.
• Consistently demonstrates expertise in B2B paid digital and social advertising methods, stays versed in trends and historical knowledge, and develops insights that can be communicated internally & externally.
• With some direction and guidance, can develop and execute multiple campaign approaches, including Account-Based and Persona-Based Marketing, to reach specific program objectives.
• Strong capabilities to complete analyses of budgets, bid management, ROI, cost per lead, and more, as needed to evaluate client advertising and marketing programs.
• Capable, with support, of developing strategy-based documentation and associated tactics plans that include well-thought-out, phased approaches, resources, and costs to deliver.
• Assures client programs are executed in an expert, timely, and professional manner and that results are always above the market average.
• Understands conversion optimization theory, including how to effectively lay out landing pages and websites, as well as how to develop strong direct marketing content.
• Understands how to measure performance and has expertise with Google Analytics and other Web Analytics and data visualization tools and programs.

Qualifications • 4+ years Paid Digital & 3+ years Paid Social Advertising complex program set-up and management across companies of multiple sizes and industries, in local, regional, and national markets. • 2+ years executing B2B paid digital/social advertising programs. • 3+ Certifications + deep knowledge required: Google Search, GDN, Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Bing. Experience and expertise in other channels are a plus. • Completed undergraduate degree with outstanding credentials. Postgraduate degree and/or professional designation an asset.
• Strong business acumen and experience in communicating with executives at larger companies and owners/CEOs and smaller companies.
