**What Youll Do:**

To some, youre a person who makes drinks. To others, youre a friend, confidant, part-time therapist and the #1 reason they got up this morning. Our Baristas are responsible for preparing and serving drinks and food items in a warm and inviting mannereven at ridiculously early hours of the day. You must be a natural born people-person. You will be interacting with hotel guests and other patrons all day long so a friendly, outgoing personality is essential. We want you to develop a rapport with customers by learning their names, favorite drinks and food items.

Here are a few things you can expect to do on a typical day:

1. Relaying your understanding of coffee and tea regions and the various differences in flavor and blends to customers.

2. Taking orders and conveying them to team members for preparation.

3. Maintaining inventory by replenishing coffee bean & food supply and stocking brewing equipment.

4. You will preferably have worked in a restaurant before but if not, its ok - we can train you; as long as you have the desire to learn and impact our guests in a positive way!

**Where Youve Been:**

Were looking for someone with a High School diploma (or equivalent) as well as a Food Handlers Permit. Previous experience in the food & beverage industry is a definite plus. The ability to think on your feet and work calmly under pressure is essential. Multi-taskers, we want you!

**When Youre Here:**

This probably goes without saying but youll be on your feet a lot. There will be occasions when you may be carrying/lifting up to 25 pounds, walking, bending/twisting and climbing stairs Youll be needed to work flexible schedules including weekends.
