We currently have a role available for an experienced Molecular Biologist.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Engineering various cell lines for pre-clinical studies such as over-expression, genome-editing, reporter lines etc.
• Maintaining cultures of frequently used suspension and adherent cell lines.
  • Cell culture experience with immortalized cell lines, cancer cell lines and/or primary cells preferred.
• Depositing and archiving cell lines in the company’s repository cell line bank.
• Keeping detailed and accurate laboratory records as well as presenting results at group meetings and project team meetings.
• Conducting viral construct cloning, viral titer measurement, and viral stock maintenance.
• Performing routine molecular and cell biology techniques such as cloning, DNA/RNA/protein extraction, qPCR analysis, western blot analysis, transfection/electroporation, flow cytometry, fluorescent microscopy and others as needed.
• Analyzing data using statistical software such as Excel, Prism, Spotfire, etc.

Job requirements include, but are not limited to:

• BS-Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry or related field with 2-4 years of experience outside of academia, preferably in pharma/biotech arenas. MS with 1-3 years of experience will also be considered.

• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written. Ability to communicate issues as they occur.
  
• Works well both as a team and as an individual.
• Demonstration of very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.
