Microbiologist Compensation

• The pay for this position is $15.00 an hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Microbiologist Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Microbiologist Responsibilities

• Clinical Services: Provide individual, group, and family counseling services, including screening, assessment, diagnosis, and the development/implementation of service plans for adult and adolescent members.
• Case Management: Coordinate care, triage referrals, consult with providers, and liaise with families and outside agencies to support members in their recovery.
• Collaboration: Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, coordinating with the Addiction Medicine Medical Team for members receiving medication-assisted treatment.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record according to medical/legal standards.
• Program Development: Participate in in-service training, program development, and process improvement initiatives as needed..

Microbiologist Requirements

• On year of profession laboratory work experience in microbiology and a bachelor's degree that includes 20 credits in microbiology cellular biology molecular biology or bacteriology and 12 credits in chemistry or biochemistry. Or graduate degree in microbiology
• High School diploma/ GED
• Attendance mandatory for first 90 days
