Who We're Looking For: Principal AI Engineer

We are in search of a visionary AI leader well-versed in the intricacies of advanced AI technologies and with expertise in designing and building AI powered products and frameworks. In this role, you will serve as a mentor and leader within the AI team. You’ll play a critical role in the development and implementation of Intelligent Systems. You will have the opportunity to lead the integration of diverse data sources, enrich AI interactions through prompt engineering, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to accelerate AI adoption and foster innovation. Your insights and contributions will play a vital role in reshaping the operations and competitive edge of automotive dealerships.

A day in the life of a Principal AI Integration Engineer 

• Designing and implementing cutting-edge NLP solutions from discovery to production. Leveraging advanced AI technologies to streamline the integration of AI-generated insights across various organizational systems, enhancing data accessibility and decision-making processes.
• Utilizing AI technologies such as advanced LLMs to develop and deploy intelligent agents for delivering comprehensive insights company-wide.
• Employing programmatic prompt engineering best practices to create, optimize, and fine-tune prompts for precise and contextually relevant AI interactions, ensuring rigorous scrutiny of AI responses for accuracy, pertinence, and consistency before deployment.
• Seamlessly integrating AI with internal and external APIs to ensure smooth access to mission-critical data.
• Crafting AI strategies aligned with organizational objectives and aspirations.
• Overseeing and enhancing model performance to continually elevate operational efficiency and accuracy.
• The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing and building agentic systems with tool calling capabilities.
• Providing strategic counsel on AI adoption and identifying avenues for operational optimization and innovation.
• Ensuring ethical AI utilization by upholding data security, privacy, and regulatory compliances.
• Staying current of advancements in AI, machine learning, and advanced LLM technologies.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• A minimum of 5 years in AI and Machine Learning technologies, with a focus on advanced LLMs.
• Extensive experience in programmatic prompt engineering and NLP tasks.
• Proven track record of integrating AI systems with diverse data platforms (databases, data lakes, APIs).
• Demonstrated expertise in Python programming and libraries such as (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, LangChain, and Hugging Face Transformers).
• Hands-on experience with leading cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).
• More than 5 years of professional experience in collaborative, agile teams and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices tailored to AI projects.
• LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Vector Databases (e.g., OpenSearch, ElasticSearch), RAG, ETL
• Proven experience in designing and building agentic systems with tool calling capabilities

This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and collaborative skills to effectively integrate AI solutions and drive business value.

Compensation:

Compensation: We offer a competitive compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications. The starting annual on-target earning for this position is $180,000.00. The final salary will be determined based on factors such as skills, knowledge, and demonstrated expertise.
