The role you'll contribute:

\n \n\n \n

Accurately analyzing and abstracting clinical data and information; for maintaining organized and detailed clinical reports and databases (computer based); maintaining confidentiality at all times; working as a member of different teams. Independent work and self-motivation are key as well as attention to detail and an ability to interpret and understand clinical data. Act as a role model for care delivery and demonstrate the CARE values in all actions. This includes demonstrating excellent service behavior.

• Abstracts clinical information from medical records and completes all required fields in trauma database.
\n \n
• Assists with data analysis and evaluates opportunities for improvement.
\n \n
• Abstracts clinical information from medical records for the submission of in-patient and outpatient core measures, National Cardiac Data Registry data, and/or cardiovascular surgery outcomes.
\n \n
• Assists with data analysis and evaluates opportunities for improvement.

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

\n \n\n \n

Required qualifications:

\n \n\n \n\n

\n
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or credentials in nursing
\n \n
• Working experience/ knowledge in quality management/improvement.
\n \n
• Requires previous computer experience skills in Microsoft Word and Excel as well as Meditech. Working knowledge of databases is a plus
\n \n
• RN License.
\n \n\n \n\n
