About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Director for Sport Development and Product. This key role is focused on providing the necessary resources and tools to advance the sport, with a particular emphasis on flag and youth tackle divisions. The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight of the entire sport development division, including the long-term approach to athlete development. This involves strategic planning, budgeting, and collaboration with various departments to ensure the creation of relevant and engaging programming for coaches, athletes, officials, and other stakeholders. The role also includes the management of the development program, with a goal of building a pool of athletes and coaches that align with the football development model at all levels of the sport. Applicants for the Senior Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in sports management or a related field, with a preference for those holding a degree in football or with experience in national sports organizations. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in sports training, governing bodies, or related fields, and a minimum of 8 years in a management role. Essential skills include the ability to provide strategic insight, oversee product and curriculum creation, and lead a team in the execution of critical projects. The role requires a hands-on approach, with the Director expected to be involved in both high-level conversations and the creation of programming and content. Experience in budget management, P&L oversight, and a proven track record of developing and executing successful products and programs are also necessary.
