In this role you will be considered a scientifically and/or medically credentialed therapeutic and disease expert who engages in bi-directional exchange of scientific/medical information with external parties, including physicians and other health-care providers (HCPs). You will provide key insights to internal company stakeholders (e.g., Clinical Development, Commercial) based on their communications with the scientific and health care payor communities. In addition, you may contribute to the providing information on research developments, and new concepts in medical treatment, giving perspective to field activities associated with growing existing products, and successfully bringing new products to market.

Minimum Requirements
- Advanced Clinical/Science degree or professional credentials strongly recommended (NP, MD, PhD, PharmD, and/or scientific background/experience)
- 3-5 years of field based MSL experience and/or 3-5 years of work experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry required
- Knowledge of the US Healthcare System and the pharmaceutical/medical device industry, including relevant regulations (FDA), and ethical standards (ACCME, ICJME) which apply to interactions with HCPs, payers, and industry representatives.

- Ability to interpret complicated clinical and pre-clinical data.

- Knowledge of clinical trial design and process.
- Demonstrates ability to develop trust and integrity with peers, and others within the US and Worldwide Medical Affairs and Commercial organizations.
Travel: Ability to support 70% travel schedule (domestic and international)
Job Requirements
- 1- Serve as a strategic medical and scientific resource
- Responsible for developing scientific communications and other materials supporting product information. Identify clinical insights and knowledge gaps and be able to articulate the impact and magnitude of the findings.
- Develops and maintains strong scientific knowledge of the current competitive landscape and competitive messaging.
- Upon request, presents clinical data to healthcare professionals (scientific peer to peer) including physicians, academic institutions, researchers, and other health care professionals.
- Provide approved information to customers to ensure access to current medical and scientific information as necessary.
- Upon request, assist or lead speaker bureau or online training programs in support of scientific information and products and services.
- Supports advisory events to ensure accuracy of and clinician access to up-to-date scientific and clinical data.
2- Responsible for effective Podium and Publication strategies
- Proactively plan, develop, and implement a podium and publication strategy in alignment with key product messaging.
- Develop and or assist in manuscript writing in accordance with ICJME guidelines for writing and authorship.
- Prepare KOL's for podium presentations by assisting with scientific material preparation in accordance with on label use of Cordis products.
- Oversee and manage externally sponsored research studies in full compliance with internal procedures. Support the transformation of the publications into commercial documents and literature.
- Gather and analyze (or oversee the analysis of) internally and externally generated, collaborative study data to create abstracts, posters, manuscripts and other scientific communications.
- Determine the most appropriate and relevant outputs for data, including which conferences to present at/journals to submit to.
3- Establish and maintain credible peer-to-peer scientific relationships with national/regional key opinion leaders (KOLs) and customers.
- Attend assigned scientific and medical congresses to gather information relevant to the organization's scientific platforms and report this information to internal team members during debrief meetings.
- Investigate and gather field medical intelligence/insights that might affect therapy safety/efficacy, Clinical/R&D strategies and competitive activities.
- Support peer-to-peer education programs through speaker identification and support
- Assist in facilitating KOL involvement in national, regional, and local educational forums including advisory boards, investigator meetings, educational symposia, and sponsored promotional programs.
- Build key relationships with scientific societies to enable successful implementation of evidence dissemination strategies.
4 - Responsible for oversight and execution of educational and Research grant process 5 - Manage process to handle unsolicited information request about off-label products or indications.
Compensation Information
- Base: $180k
- Bonus pay: 15% Annual bonus
- Total: $207k
