The Staff Accountant performs more complex accounting functions and provides accounting support for the Damage Recovery Unit claim centers operating in the U.S. and Canada.  This position prepares and reconciles accounting schedules and reports.  In addition, this position processes invoices/expenses and various accounting transactions.  The Staff Accountant may also be involved in special projects in addition to regular duties.

This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in St. Louis, MO, with a hybrid schedule available.

Responsibilities

We are hiring now for immediate openings.  Responsibilities include:

• Research and resolve questions between Corporate Business Management, the DRU offices and Operating groups concerning customer balances.
• Process applicable accounting entries, to include journal vouchers, journal entries and cash receipts.
• Utilize reporting to research and resolve outstanding customer balances and process refunds.
• Run queries for payments to ensure correct accounting.

Qualifications

Minimum :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
